Winter

Oh yes its winter, which means cute beanies! I've got a bright pink one, which I paired with a dress that has cat sillouettes on it. :)

Straightened hair, yay!

I like winter because the trees change. Right now they are red and orange, very Autumn and very pretty. Its nice when it rains and you can sit inside next to the heater. On a winters day I like to have a cup of coffee and read. Right now I am reading 'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green. Its a beautiful book! Look out for my review on it.

A quick hello

Aloha!

So in my last post I said I was going to the zoo.. Well sadly it didn't happen. My family and I went to the zoo as it was $2 per entry. Its normally about $20, so we knew we had to go! We were all so excited.. When we arrived we noticed the line went for about two kilometres, along with hundreds of people. It was crazy! By then it was already 2pm and the zoo closed at 5pm, so even if we waited in the line, we wouldn't have  had enough time to enjoy it. Instead we said we will go back another time. (depending on the weather, gah!) We then went to a cute little cafe (not sure of the name, sorry) in a place called Scorcher Bay (not that the weather was scorching!)

Introduction! HELLO!

Hi everyone! 

My name is Danielle. If you are reading this right now feel free to call me Dani. I am 16 and from a beautiful place called New Zealand. This is my first ever blog post as DaniDarling so I am super excited! I cannot wait to share my experiences with you. Hopefully people will actually read this blog, I'll try not to make it all about myself.... so I will include all of you (if anyones out there) in some way, like talking to you, etc.

I am hoping the main theme of this blog will be self confidence (and being the best version of you!), if that makes any sense. In other terms; living the life that you want to. So back to introducing myself; I am a very very shy person especially when it comes to talking to people I don't know. I was hoping that if I take small steps and try really hard that I could build on my confidence and begin to make more friends. Personally I think this blog will do just that and  help me with becoming more outgoing. Being more confident is important to me as it will encourage and motivate me to do better in school. Also it will help me to have more fun causing me to be HAPPY. I just love that word!! 

In summary there'll be a variety of blog posts ranging from sharing my experiences aswell as motivational ones about building self confidence! There will probably be a bit about clothes, shoes and make-up too.. I am a bit of a girly girl. I hope you managed to read untill the end of this post.
